The St. John the Evangelist CYO Handbook outlines the rules and expectations for the CYO sports programs. Families participating in CYO programs are expected to print and read the handbook, as it describes eligibility and other requirements. Participation in CYO sports programs requires two types of registration. One for the Archdiocese and one for St. John the Evangelist. The Archdiocese of Washington D.C., Office of Youth Ministry/CYO requires an annual registration for each child. You may register you child through the Archdiocesan CYO site , which also provides information on schedules, team standing, and game & tournament locations.

The CYO is moving away from paper registrations and moving towards On-line registration for all sports starting 11/24/11. Our first program to move on-line will be the Intramural Basketball. Paper forms and on-line forms will be available as we transition from paper forms to on-line.

In order to start on-line registration, you need to perform some initial information.

• Initial child information set up (this is a one time process)
• Register your child for the upcoming sports program (this is a recurring process) Click the On-line registration to get started and sign your child up for Intramural Basketball.

Registration closeout for each sport is listed on the registration information form. Please note that registrations are now being processed at On-line registration. If in-person sign-ups are held, the date, time, and location will be listed on the registration form.

Registrations received after the close of registration may be placed on a wait list, depending upon the number of children who registered on time and the size of the team. The late registration waiting list will be kept after the deadline. The players will be listed in the order that the forms were received and will be placed as spots become available or if additional teams are formed. There is a late registration fee.

• Soccer Camp (Grades K)
• Soccer 4v4 (Grades 1-2)
• T-Ball (Kindergarten and children intending to enter Kindergarten in the fall)
