The St. John the Evangelist CYO Handbook outlines the rules and expectations for the CYO sports programs. Families participating in CYO programs are expected to print and read the handbook, as it describes eligibility and other requirements. Participation in CYO sports programs requires two types of registration. The Archdiocese of Washington D.C., Office of Youth Ministry/CYO requires an annual registration for each child. You may register you child through the Archdiocesan CYO site , which also provides information on schedules, team standing, and game & tournament locations.

Registration closeout for each sport is listed on the registration form. Please note that registration forms may be placed in the CYO box in the school lobby or delivered to the registrar at the in person sign-up nights. If in-person sign-ups are held, the date, time, and location will be listed on the registration form and the CYO Calendar.

Registration forms received after the close of registration may be placed on a wait list, depending upon the number of children who registered on time and the size of the team. The late registration waiting list will be kept after the deadline. The players will be listed in the order that the forms were received and will be placed as spots become available or if additional teams are formed. There is a late registration fee.
