Sister Lois Buckley is the junior kindergarten afternoon instructor on Tues, Weds and Thurs. Sister Lois brings many years of experience as a Montessori-trained educator to the program.
The Montessori philosophy focuses on the individuality of the child in respect to their personalized needs and talents, as opposed to the needs of the class as a whole. The goal of St. John the Evangelist’s junior kindergarten program is to help the child maintain their natural joy of learning.
