Volunteer Opportunities

There are so many fun ways to become involved in St. John the Evangelist School! There are a number of on-going programs, described below, which require the support of parent volunteers. Contact the POCs listed in the PDF below if you have questions or are interested in volunteering for any of these great opportunities. General Fundraising Activities
Volunteers are needed for all of these activities. These events and programs are a great way for the school to raise money and help keep tuition costs down, but they DO NOT affect the individual family fundraising obligation of $370.00 per year. Click here General Fundraising Opportunities [PDF].

In addition, volunteers are always needed for SJE’s extra curricular activities. Click here for more information Extra Activities [PDF].

VIRTUS--Archdiocese of Washington Child Protection Policy
b For the protection of all of our children, SJE policy follows the Archdiocese of Washington Child Protection Program, VIRTUS. Parents and guardians must be cleared through VIRTUS in order to fulfill their Lunch & Recess Duty requirement, serve as chaperones on field trips, attend class parties and functions at school, and volunteer for extracurricular activities such as Scouting and CYO.
